A lovely tapas restaurant located in El Clot. This was the best tapas selection I had in Barcelona during my 7 day visit. The staff were lovely - friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and catered well for all - vegetarians, sea food loving husbands as meat lovers. Make sure you leave space for desserts.

The food was amazing and not touristy at all. We really felt like we ate the way locals do, and at a great price too. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant. Juan, who served us, was a fantastic guy—he helped us a lot with choosing dishes and even gave us great tips on where to eat during our stay in Barcelona. Top place!

No reservation needed — grabbed an outdoor table and soaked in the local vibes. We ordered a spread of tapas and the highlights were the chickpea + chicken skewers, eggplant with hazelnuts, jamón croquetas, anchovies, and the beef cheeks. To drink we loved the Tulsia beer and Coral Rosé. 10/10.

With your dog, and out on the street

Your dog comes in with you and gets treated like one more guest. We have water for them and a spot where they can settle without getting in anyone's way.

And if the weather's good, we have a terrace on a quiet neighbourhood street — the kind where you sit down mid-afternoon and lose track of time.

Casa Pepi: the cooking you remember is in El Clot
  • Those wonderful Casa Pepi tapas

  • An old-school Barcelona eating house with soul

  • The eating house with an eccentric streak in El Clot

This is what Casa Pepi feels like

We don't reinvent the classics. We respect them

You don't come here just to eat. You come to share tapas and small plates, to mop up the sauce with bread and to leave arguing about which dish was the best.

A neighbourhood gastrobar with the warmth of a lifelong casa de comidas and the easy-going feel of a modern bar. Grandma's recipes, seasonal produce and a kitchen that doesn't try to be clever — it tries to be good.

Croquettes, bomba, Russian salad, open omelettes, cannelloni, rice dishes and fideuà. Order for the middle of the table, share, and then order one more.

Come with no doubts left
